Well I wanted to do a bit of an update for record keeping.

I have taken the time to organise a group buy for the process west air muffler delete.

That being said I installed the muffler air delete today. This sure has tidied the engine bay a bit.

The one thing that does concern me is the fitting of the rubber piping to the turbo. I just could not get te pipe to go over the back lip of the grove and so it would not slide all the way back.

I suspect that because of this, the piping may be to close to the power steering resoviour as per image above.

Thoughts?

At first I had left the joiner on the turbo and then found that there wasnt enough space to fit the pipe in.

Then removed the joiner and tried to fit the rubber pipe directly onto the turbo. It just would not slide all the way to the back.

Went on a cruise last night and all piping held up which was good.

To fit the muffle delete up properly I also recommend taking the hot side pipe to dive you more room to adjust and fir properly.

Ahh so both of you are talking about the pipe that is to the left of the turbo.

You call it hot side pipe, I have no idea what you mean, circle it in a picture and I will know exactly which one you mean. : P

Pharkin phone auto correct.

Yea mate the pipe coming out of the turbo just to the left of the intake muffle delete is the hot side pipe. Take that off and it will give you more room to adjust and fit the muffle delete.

Just make sure you refit the hot side properly.

Although I don't advocate it if theres anything touching down there give it a careful bend outta the way.. I had a few things getting in the way when I was fitting the turboside intake and carefully pushed a few things around and eventually *made* the room I needed

Love the stocko look!

the delete pipe was a b!tch to install lol, Took me over an hour, messing around in there in between the hot side piping and the power steering fluid reservoir.

XFT checked it all when it was there for a service last week, moved the hose clamp from the power steering hose around as it was pushing into the rubber joiner.

Sounds awesome
