When I got my latest fg done by Dave he made it come on gently as that's what I wanted, to keep it driveable and safe (as safe as 400rwkw can be). New owner has had it retuned by a not so well known tuner down south and it came on hard and fast and he loves it that way as it frys the tyres easier and went on about how much better this tune was compared to the old one. I didnt bother to let him know it was tuned previously how I wanted it tuned, I just nodded and said FANTASTIC!!!

Done more mods such as garret GTX 3582 ,Bosch id 1000 and tuned by real dyno still it must be my exhaust holding it back as they tuned it to 366.8 rwkw at 18 psi and try'd 20 psi and made less power ,there guess is my hurricane twin 2.5" exhaust but I cant get why the exhaust is holding it back as it's like straight through or valve springs going soft,

I am taking the word from my mechanic who fit it and he hasn't steered me wrong so far and he said it's straight through but who really knows unless you can test it.

It cost me over a grand for cat back so I figured it was a good cat back but maybe crap.

Heard the Hurricane catback isn't too bad. Get your tuner to test the exhaust, and from what I understand they should be able to tell if valve springs are going soft. If you really want 400 ask the tuner exactly what they think it is and if you're keen to go ahead get them to start testing things

I spoke to my mechanic today when I dropped the rig off for new engine mounts and he said hurricane recommended the twin over the single but back then I wasn't really chasing this power level.

Good idea mate to get them to test the exhaust.
