so Glad I read this post...my cars just started to do the same thing... changed the coils & plugs (which Im glad I did anyway...carsjust hit 150,000) & the thing does exactly what you guys mentioned "rydeit". Was hoping my car already had the typhoon springs as its an update...which I was told most had but it looks like ive just analysed my prob .. the rough idle on cold & all. Ill get my mate to change them @ his workshop. Ive also heard the Boss v8 springs are a good upgrade as well. Anyone else vouch for this?

Cheers

Danny

go crows or atomic mate, dont muck around with anything else, for the sake of an extra $100-200 it will be worth it.

Springs are only like $300 or something anyway? Labour is the $$$ part.

just to get some more answers as well...why does my car also seem to backfire through the exhaust...cant see whay the extra boost would affect exhaust spring pressures

Could be a vacuum leak(throttle body gasket or anywhere on the exhaust side) , O2 sensor, spark plugs, loose pipe, split engine mount, the list is endless.
