Cheers Bonjaz I recon valve springs is my issue. Was always under the impression that the f6 valve springs would last but obviously not. Any reccomendations in valve spring department. Plazmaman always seems good. Does the car need a re tune after valve springs aswell?

My car did it hot.

I was also down over 10rwkw after having springs put in at XFT (crow springs) so opted for a retune, picked up some power (322 before springs, 236 after), I'm so keen to see my mph now that my ZF is rebuilt and isn't slipping!

322 before........... 236 after.....ummmmmmmmmmmm

Springs tend to play up when hot. Heat affects the steel and contributes to the lose of spring force.

Typos be damned!

322 before, 326 after :P Peak figures suck for comparing anyway, it feels a tad stronger the whole way.

Just replaced my coil packs. Had noticed a huge power loss for some time. Got so bad in the higher gears was like traction control was kicking in. Ran 11.3@113mph so power was definately down. Priblem only realy showed up in higher gears. Pulled the codes on the xcal(no check engine light) and sure enough all coils bar num 2 were playing up.
