Can't honestly answer your question ratter.

The data was being shown on the mainline screens showing all sorts of things with the car hooked up with wires both in the engine bay and behind tbe car. There was a laptop present also which was not touched and remained in the desktop homepage screen.

I simply wanted to show that not all cars will need retune depending on what mods they have. Im sure a bigger cooler may have changed things which would then require a retune.

I see what your saying but I dont understand why anyone would consider it. Simple mod or not for peace of mind your better to have it run up on the dyno just to be sure.....

good info but I agree with henz, you have gone from a crap cooler to a crap cooler... go from a crap exhaust to a crap exhaust and you probably wont require one either...

Like I said for the cost of the cooler and the gains I cant complain. Its a BA and to me its pointless in spending any more. If it was an FG I would consider spending more on exhaust, cooler and other exotic items but the fact is its a 10 year old car.

The point of this was to show that a retune is not always mandatory but is recommended and I dont

See others posting their results other than ratter when he did the g6et test.

Crapper cooler as some put it does the job but it works for this mild set up.

I remember the days when most of you had the wog coolers......

When I did my cooler kit+ plenum on my BA a retune took me from 244rwkw to 299rwkw.

A 10kw gain good be the difference in the weather or the fuel.
