Interesting idea - but when the basic turbo RB30 with a race glide or a tricky C4 or a skyline 5 speed is a standup start, the Ford option is a lot of work or am I being lazy ? (Probably)

Once you get the the basic "big block" 3 litre in the datto chassis and hook up an aftermarket computer, you are away. If a rebuild is wanted, there are 3.3 litre and 3.5 litre kits available as well. Stock - heaps of piston/rod/cam/valve spring combos as well.

There was an oz made r31 floating around a while back than ran 150 mph in the 1/4 with the 2 valve RB 30 and a largish turbo on it. I won't mention the VL Late model camira battles - they are beyond belief.
