Alright, here is the deal. I am from the united states and own a datsun 240z. I have been lookong for a good motor swap. was thonkong about the rb from a skyline or an sr20 from a silvia but I'm an odd guy I guess and want to go a different route than the norm. a dew weeks ago I stumbled upon the whole xr6t. I don't know if it is just me here but it took me a while to find any information on the motor. well to get to the point I want to see what it would take to get a 2005 front clip to us soil. I have not been able to find a place that would even begin to price this out for me. Any info on that subject or a basic explaintion of these power plants for me.

Boys please correct me if I'm wrong

02-05 is the ba version of the falcon but have the weak bottom end (240kw)

05-08 is the bf version but the stronger motors came out from 06/06 (270kw)

08-13 is the fg motor (270kw)

Then you have the Fpv models

Fpv ba typhoon can't remember how many kw that one is ?

Fpv bf typhoon is 270kw

Fpv fg f6 is 310kw

bf was only 245 fatz, only you lot in your FPV's got the privilege of owning the 270's :P from ba-bf I think they did something with the vct and got the extra 5kw...

RB30 = cheaper to build, cheaper to repair, easier to source parts, lighter and rediculous amounts of power for a 240z

Do this and you will be happy

Correct. They picked up 5kw due to different cams to BA's and 06/06 seems to be the accepted start of the F6 bottom ends in BF's.

EDIT: OP are you aware of the physical size of these Engines? (height in particular)
