What about getting the fuel in tank tested, where can I go to do that?

I would hate to do the retune with united 100 and have similar thing happen.

Issue is, timing needed to be retarded due to pinging through top end. Tuner suspects fuel is contaminated with 95Ron or bad batch! Would like to get to bottom of it and will start with getting fuel tested to rule it in or out.

I would have asked to get the tank drained and filled with fresh 98 while it was still at the workshop.

Could have been a bad batch of fuel or a mix between 2 different fuels, try driving it a while and filling up so you have 98 in there

only, it seems that BP is the preferred one then get it tuned again.

After the pinging is ruled out then you can see how the car drives.

With about 300rwkw, I'm happy for the most part with how mine goes after a tune, it's not the best

as there are some things that I just haven't had time to get checked out but it will definitely

be quicker everywhere and get upto speed faster.

Your dyno graph seems fine to me and making the power but I guess your having some sort of issue after that

I'll PM HIM.:)

McMatty, you running 4" dump?

Yeah mate

It doesn't add that much power but gives much more response and torque

But I seriously reckon drain the fuel and try again on a different servos bp98 or United 100

And why no e85??

As Aaron suggested United 100 is another option and probably easier yo get our way compared to e85.

Problem is though if it is not the fuel then it could be a waste of time and money getting it retuned.

If you google fuel testing Perth, there are a couple of places that do it but it's not cheap.

Mick, if it was me I would also change the intake pump. You can get a replacement drop in cradle for around 300 with a high flow welbro pump.

Ask your tuner about fuel pump.

Otherwise if you want to supply or fit yourself you can get one of these

They also have e85 pumps and bigger cradle pots etc.
