Hi All

I've been scouring the forums for some answers, however unable to find anything definitive as well as it seems most kits are under constant development and old threads may not be relevant anymore.

I'm chasing around 550rwhp in my BF Typhoon, I'm hopefully looking for kit that does not require any cutting, if such a kit exists for the power levels I'm chasing.

The kits I'm looking at are either the Process West stage 2 (or 3?) or the Plazmaman 800hp kit (Or 1000hp?)

Any info would be much appreciated.

No cutting with the Nizpro cooler on our BA or BF. Not sure about other brands.

My Nizzer big big cooler required a small amount of massaging to be applied to the rear of the collision bar.

The cooler was close than I was comfortable with considering its rubber mounted and attached by fairly inflexible hoses to a big heavy bit that moves.

So you'd reckon Nizpro is the way to go?

I'm setting my BF XR6T up for some circuit work and my tuner is saying that the F6 cooler I'm running now won't even come close to being good enough.
Car is set up for about 340 rwkws and I'd like to get others opinions on what cooler to install without having to cut up the car?

All advice appreciated guys....

Process West have told me their stage 2 doesn't require cutting, but feedback from other suggest otherwise. I myself am not after a large cool, just one that will support up to 400rwkw but as a safety net. Currently at 325rwkw in the F6 and experiencing heat soak.

email from nizpro

Hello Shaun
If you are still running the standard intake manifold and throttle position then you are after our Nizpro stage one intercooler kit along with the upgraded hot side pipe kit.
The intercooler supplied and fitted is $1750 plus the large hot side pipe at $354.00.
This intercooler will comfortably do 400 rwkws and can be upgraded to our forward intake manifold if needed latter on.

correct ....stage 2 core is zero cutting
Hi mate,

Thanks for that. It is tuned at 325rw and I am just applying supporting mods for what is already done. Nothing over the top.
I am currently noticing changes in the warmer weather.
So for stage 2 instalment no cutting is required?

cheers
Shaun

HiShaun
My stage 2 intercooler core is plenty for 400rwkw
You would need to mate is with my Race Air box for 400kw though.
Regards, Kev
