Thanx guys..

I was really hoping to miss out on the dreaded valve float but its reared its ugly head lol

easy fix im not tooo fussed..

The single pegger is probably going to be a bigger problem for now anyways even if I had the added power..

The TruTrak will sort that out shortly though and all will be well..

As said its predominantly a daily so the drive-ability and reliability are the most important aspects of the tune..

Its very close to the stock tune I must say so happy there definately.. and the lag is minimal stepping up to the MTA750 from the stocker which was also a must have..

Mate I don't mean to be rude at all and I know dyno figures are only a number but I thought the mta was supposed to be on par with the gtx3582r (correct me if I'm wrong)

Is there anything holding you back?

Once again mate I don't mean to be rude but I'm just interested in how it feels for you versus the hype around that turbo

Mate I honestly dont know..

From all the hours and hours of research and mucking round to come up with a plan for the build I sorta feel let down too..

With everything I have its really only an extra 25-30kw over what a stock turbo can produce :/

I honestly thought id be a LOT closer to the 400kw mark than the 350kw mark..

At 6200rpm which is quite high in the rev range is where it started to nose over slightly indicating valve bounce so Hi-Torque says,

but at that level of power I didnt expect to see that at all.. 380-400kw yes but not that low..

SO a Billet Front Wheel, a Brand new core and a 82mm rear wheel and a .7 front cover only nets 30kw..?? hmm yeah its got me too..

The NEW ported rear housing and flapper mod holds boost very well across the range so I cant say that's holding me back..

I MAY have lost a couple of KW with the crossover setup but def NOT 30-50kw..

The GTX or the 6235 may have been the better option.. :/

on e85 I made 357rwkw with the standard crossover and standard turbo.

What was happening if he raised the boost more?

Mine on 98 makes 351rwkw with billet wheeled gt3540

Joe tried to get more but he turned up the boost by 2 more psi it started to ping

Barnz it has a full X-force system in mild steel.. 4" from turbo back into 3.5" which I thought would save me from the valve issues..

I also had on good advice from Dave Sheehy that it wouldnt be a problem till at least 380ishkw with a good system and FG springs..

I honestly think it was set to 17psi, nosed over on the 17psi run and was left at that and told I need valve springs..

Paid the money and no more of an explanation other than the supplied fitted price of new atomic ones :/

I didn't change my valve springs over until I hit 400rwkw plus.

Call your tuner and have a chat with him mate and see what he says

mate. go and have chat with kent the owner of Hi Torque mate. very easy bloke to get on with. like I said last night mate. u have valve float at high RPM. u will lose over 20 30rwks with valve float mate. so go and see kent and get a price on doing ya valve springs.
