Hey guys,

I'm sure you all know of the Rota rims that you can buy off eBay for a grand. Does anybody have them? Are they any good? Reason I ask is because I've heard they are weak and snap.

Cheers, Ethan

Lots of people have heard they are weak and snap, very few have actually seen it happen.

Had my rota grids on for 2 years as my road rims.

Can't justify light expensive rims for the daily street as there's always the chance of scratching them.

Don't care if I scratch my rota's

9.5" at the back with 275 semi's. Dark gun metal.

No probs at all. Even used them as my circuit wets.

Like most aftermarket rims they have a 73mm centre bore.

Will need centric hub rings though. 70.3mm - 73mm. Ebay always have them. Alloy are better but plastic do the job too.

Help you centre the wheel when doing up lock nuts and eliminate vibration/chance of failure.

+1 always get the hub centric rings to suit our Falcons! Cheap as, crazy not to.
