Fg Xr6T Manual Ute With 1.5" Lowering Blocks

I recently put 1.5" blocks in my 2011 xr6t ute, its the 6speed manual. I wasnt to keen on the idea at first but after my local pedders woud supply and fit for $150 I thought I might as well see how it goes after hearing the utes dont like being lowered.
Now iv been hearing a slight vibration when backed off going 50km/h plus.. iv looked under the ute sitting on flat ground and it looks like the diff and tail sharft are way out of alignment! The diff input sharft seem to be point up on a 45degree angle up and the tail sharft is straight on??

Has anyboy else had this issues and should I just rip them suckers back out asap??

well yer remove them if putting them in caused the problem

but they may have been installed wrong as the diff shouldnt be pointing up on an angle :/

I had 2" blocks and it did horrible things to the way the car drove so I had them ripped out and had the springs reset 2".

Heaps better.

It also caused some weird vibes through the drivetrain that kind of felt like there was a load on the centre bearing.

Resets fixed it immediately.

I was thinking about blocks myself but not so keen now after reading this. I have a manual fg ute too mate. can you recommend a place that will reset the leaves at a reasonable price?? Located In Perth.

WA Suspension in Ossie Park are the people I use.

I can't say enough good things about them.

Are you doing the front as well ?

Replacing shocks with ones suitable for lowered suspension?

Cheers bud. I called a place in malaga today but will try WA suspension now. I think that place in malaga charged 460 for resetting leafs. they suggested different springs for the front 200. and a wheel alignment. Not really looking to dust all my cash. gotta leave a bit for an xr8 bonnet and engine goodies!
