I thought these 6466 turbos were good for 600+!!!!

Also another dude went 138/9 mph (10.2) with a T3 6466 and 0.84 rear. Hauling!!!

^^^ that dude had 500 rwkws & it was a 1.06 rear so really should have done 140 mph!!

Just find it strange that no one's really lent on one yet!

My 6235 went 139MPH, bolt one one mine and I'm sure it will see 140+

Just because it hasn't been done yet does not mean it can't be done.

I'm sure it will happen, not sure that they're good for 600 though.

Veva...the one I'm referring to has a 0.84 not 1.06.

35+psi at redline on a 4.0 L. I'm sceptical.

My 1.06 mta900 did 32 pretty easy! And aren't PT's supposed to work best in the upper boost limits?

I've put one of those bolt on 6466's on mine.

So far it went a 10.8@131 on 20psi (boost was dropping off, still had twin cats) and a good ol zf limiter bash from 1st-2nd

Second run was stalling it higher and broke the hardy spicer cv on the built shaft.

I've cut the cats out today so will retune it shortly and see what it does with 25+psi. My only concern is the headlift that all the tuners talk about so will see what mine does, will lean it off if I have to.

If I had workshop doing mine it would be done already, but doing my own after hours takes time lol

Me personally, would sacrifice power for horny turbo noise. Making power is easy. Horny turbo noise...not so much.

this times x 11ty

ive been having a read up and anti surge covers play a large role in how a turbo sounds. Have a look at the HKST51's, you will notice their fron cover has 2 very thin rings close together and are the same height on the inlet, compared to say my GTX, which has that small odd looking ring inside the inlet. They rekon the manufacturer tuned this to give the HKS its insane whistle. Same goes for the HTA3794, must be a combination of the compressor wheel, front cover shape and distances in between. Id happily run 400 with a mad whine than 500 with no noise ( other than obvious intake suck, no whine ) on the street especially
