I paid 1900 for the 6235 + xxxx amount for actuator bracket mod + xxxx amount for rear housing ported. Unlike others the actuator supplied with mine is working fine.

Works out to be roughly the same for GTX

Yea it cost me 1900 ish then there was the labor of taking off my gtx turbo and putting on the 6235 which was a few hundred squids more. The gtx was $1700ish for me/same for labor soo I dunno whats goin on with the second mortgage comments :/

I think the actuator issue is only evident on BA/BF, not sure why.

All the fg's that Spiro has done have been fine with the supplied actuator once they modify them.

Im really happy with the 6466 bolt on so far, still plenty of tuning left as I need to run a correction for the eboost but 25psi falling to 20psi with the internal gate/actuator that they come with its making over 1500nm of torque and showing 450+rwkw with the semis on the dyno. (need to run normal tyres next time I try to tune)

Not sure. Yes, no, maybe really not sure.

Not keen on losing water feed, just worrys me with longevity, With the torque I have now I can't see any real gains! It would have to be a very very good deal if I was to change turbos.

no point you going 6235 (has water lines) with the power u have already.... 6466 minimum

Agree, unless you want a more responsive turbo for daily duties, their ain't much difference in power between the 2

The way I see it - 6235 is the ultimate street turbo, similar spool to the little turbo and takes you to the limit of what the stock engine can cope with

6466 - for when you have a built engine...

I have not had any issues with the supplied 6235 actuator on my FG

I remember this came up last year. ..

Horny as f@#k I believe was the term used

In my experience the 6+6 and 7+7 wheels sound better and louder than the 11+0 wheels
