What do you expect. Its like anything guys, things are improved on and designed better on a daily basis. Maybe not in this industry, but it still happens. Theres nothing wrong with the GTX and ite been proven to be a good turbo, but obviously the new kid on the block is going to supercede the predecessor. Doesnt mean they are automatically an obsolete turbo, just gives guys more options now. Like a few guys have said we are spoilt. 4 T3 turbos that can be bolted to standard manifold, look stock and pump out 550rwkw. Who would have thought?

Just depends on peoples budget, goals ETC. Id have no problem still buying a GTX, or an MTA, or a presicion OR a FP turbo if I had the money!

Just ran it up on pump 98. Keep in mind I have standard cat back exhaust and valve springs which are holding us back a lot.

340rwkw

Pumping e85 into it now.

Id be very surprised if the springs were causing you problems at that power level willo

And if the were Id be inclined to get them sorted before wasting time and money on an E85 tune..

Just my 2cents

Made 306 on stock turbo

Just made 400 at 22 psi on e85

453 at 22psi with the exhaust unbolted at the cat....little bit loud haha

Just gonna tidy up the e85 tune now to a bit under 400 and that'll do for now. With a good exhaust and more tuning 450 plus no worries

Watching this with interest George!

I'm still on the stock FG GT3576. ( with steel bearings though replacing the nylon at 155,000kms.)

It's now done 233,000kms and a heap more circuit days since the maintenance rebuild.

Only a matter of time before it blows but most of the time it's under 320rwkw which is plenty for me at the track.

I was considering a GTX3576 core but these Precision turbo's seem promising.

I have the supporting mods for over 400rwkw, just can't use this much at the circuit though.

How do these Precision Turbos run at low boost?

Is the spool time really comparable to a GT3576?

I want fast super spool and about 380-400rwkw ideally.
