For over the counter products they seem fine to me. Though if you have fine clear coat scratches and swirling, which pretty much every car has, it might need a professional buff... Though it's only a matter of time before the swirls come back... There is a good Australian site which sell allot of decent stuff and can give you good advice... www.waxit.com.au Edited 04/11/13 09:34 PM by boost69

There's a UK bloke that charges over £2200 for a full detail. Pretty high carnauba content and the wax is hand kneaded into the paint after serious clay work. Cent remember his name or anything but pretty intense stuff.

Even the best polish will look terrible if the paint underneath is contaminated.I use a mixture of Autoglym, Mothers, and Meguiars. Im using the Mothers clay bar at the moment, so far so good.

All I need to do is scrub the car (wash it), anything I can't get off use a clay bar, then apply one of the many polishes listed above?
