So where do you play? What sort of scores? Share some advice and some tips.. I just bought some Wilson Staff D-100 gear to replace some of my older clubs. Currently I'm good for around a 41-44 on 9 holes..

Cause if your getting 14 over par I think your right handed playing with left handed clubs or holding the club upside down. Edited 01/11/13 09:53 AM by BiZkets

Edit: told a furphy.. It's 35 on the front 9.. I can sometimes play as low as 3 over par and in my current ambrose comp I'm averaging 35 on 9 without a handicap.. I dropped like 2g's on a pgf set like 5 years ago. Just have a hit every now and then. But when I had 3 months off couple of years back was playing Adelaide north course like 5 times a week and was finishing about 3 to 6 over par. But now with a few beers and pies the score card looks like a test cricket score card. Took all day and I finished on lost9 balls for 357 lol:lol: Edited 01/11/13 10:04 AM by BiZkets

You should coach the Australian cricket team with that score!! Yeah I was only playing once a blue moon but a few blokes at work sparked my interest again so I'm getting back into it.. Currently my major let down is any shot within 50m of the green.. Can put a ball on a green from 150m away.. But can't friggin chip from 5m off.. My short game is good but can hit really clean with the 3 & 5 woods but the driver I'm rubbish. But the driver when I do get a hit on it it's over the 250 sometimes the fence. Played royal pines (where aus open is about to start) the other day for $49 with a cart. I get around in the same figures as SDP my pb being 78 at Lakelands. I'm currently using an old set of x16 callaways which are great but would love a new set of Taylor mades.Love my driver of all the clubs, can bash a ball a fair distance which helps by having a 9deg Taylor made burner with Fujikura rombax shaft (super stiff!!).Chipping and putting are my downfall. I can't hit a 9 degree driver for sh*t.. First bounce usually around 150m mark.. Unless I go all or nothing than I can get some pretty serious distance but straight or not is the question.. Yeah I like the course choices I have around home.. 2 good ones really close.. And a few smaller courses around the ridges..
