^ Agreed.

RDA = Rubbish. Also RDA customer service don't give a sh*t...

DBA T2/T3 with a nice pad and 5.1 fluid = win :spoton:

What a way to dig up an old thread. I think I have to agree with Ozwalker. It has to do with pads.

I have DBA T3s and I had shudder.

I believe that when the endures get sent back and either the Bendix ultimates or the project MUs go in, the shudder will go away.

So is the key with RDA to run aggressive pads? I always thought the harsher the pads the more prone the rotors are to becoming warped/shudder

Ozywalker I assume you use DS250 or whatever they are called?

Arronm you use bendix ultimates yeah?

Would these bremtec endures be considered a soft pad? And therefore prone to leaving resin; where a harsh pad will almost act like a constant machining for the rotors?

Not really sure about the bremtecs. I've always gone for high temp rated pads and found the ferodo DS2500 pretty good and the remsas where also pretty good.

But It's not a daily and gets driven hard, only really get 5 to 7k out of a set of pads maybe 10 to 15k from the rotors.

Need brembos.

yeh DS2500 is the ones I mean lol

bloody bremtecs....not sure if my rotor/pad compatibility is the cause of my premature rotor wear...but I will be machining the discs once I sort out some front bushes....so I figure I may as well try new pads just in case the bremtecs were the cause.

and see 10-15k kms is not normal to me. Mines basically a daily....and rotors usually last 50,000kms+ or so (with one machine during that time)...pretty sure I even read they can last 100,000kms? (Stever?)....replacing that often I can see why you prefer to go through rdas....imagine the cost if you were burning through t3's that quickly :P

Correct in a way, expect to change rotors every 3rd pad change with aggressive pads(2 sets of pads to one set of rotors) depending on how much of a hiding they get. Still quite alot of km's though
