I would suggest 280km/h, I assume that you have removed the speed limiter? I also assume you are testing at a private venue :P

Yeah, I think your pretty close to the mark,we are in the process of deleting the speed limiter not sure where the testing will take place.

Hi Peter,

300 kph would put a smile on my dial - wouldn't you expect this from 385kw + ?

By the way, knowing you, APS wouldn't make any gearing mods unless they make the car go quicker. So, can you make these changes to my gearing when I fit the Phase III? Huh? Please?? :D

The thing is, you can have as much power as you want, but at higher speeds coefficient of drag (wind resistance) has much more influence on the top speed than the amount of pwoer the car has.

As power increases the top speed will increase, but in a diminishing returns, almost logrithmic fashion..

Sedan with 5 speed man box I would be stoked if we can hit 285KPH, and you dont get to keep it if you guess right, though maybe a hairy drive on a quiet country road.

hmmmm ummmm when I was ar in the northern territory I hit 240 and couldnt go past due to the limiter! I heard the limiter comes in at 230 but unless my speedo is out mine went to 240 no problem at all, so id say it should make 280 no prob.

Would put a smile on my dial also, unfortunately we dont have sufficent gearing to hit the magical 300KPH. I think the 6 speed box with the good ratios would be the way to go to hit the 300KPH given theres enough power to push the gearing.
