My first tune was done by email.

Tuner would run car up, email results to KPM, they would email back and then tuner would run car up again.

All sounded good till I finally got the chance to boot it right into the top end a few days later and it pinged like a Kunt.

So yeah, you can keep them email jobbies.

And that's the difference you get with tuning on the dyno then running on the road. I had zero problems with my supercharged xr8 from dyno to road but the turbo was a total different beast with it running excellent on the dyno but then pinging it's tits off on the road!

All this was back when xcal didn't exist and my tuner at the time just ended up road tuning it with me which ended up good... That was with the TSI piggyback computer!

We used to put down a fair wack of road time to make sure tunes were spot on as there is sometimes a difference between rollers to road

But depends

Air fares are cheaper than 2k

Hey Kim. I was talking about transport costs for the car. Only one company would ship to Darwin due to the clearance of the f6, only ceva. And $2000 a pop

Interesting idea, but you'd need to pay them a full day's wage plus air fares probably? Plus dyno hire time

BUT

You'd get a local environment tune!
