_stuck pedal?

-pedal sensor

-throttle body

-big vacume leak??

That sounds pretty scary, what if it decides to floor it all of a sudden?

Should get it to a mechanic that knows his Fords. Might put you into a tree otherwise.

This was 2 yrs ago in my old BA MKII I have a FG G6ET know. I did take it to 2 forum sponsors in Sydney and they couldn't fault it and I had it for another 12 months and never did it again... I know the new owner and its never done it to him either.... It was 2 days after putting it all back to stock after having it tunes with injectors, intercooler, cat etc.

hi,

I had just experienced same problem.. mine was stalling a couple of times over past few weeks and after a throttle body clean it has seemed to have stopped that and now just coming up my street to home I backed of to slow down and it kept accelerating.. put clutch in and sitting about 2200 revs.. gave it a rev and still sat at 2200.. drove into yard and reved a couple of times and dropped down but when revving it would stay up around 2000-2200 for couple of seconds before dropping down.. turned off and back on and didn't do it again..

maybe time for new tps???

is there a life spane for the actuale throttle body? I know they can f*ck up but is there a service time when you should replace them?

I seen them on ebay for about 200 genuine
