Hi kylec... I have thought of gng down that path b4.... But after reading this forum and numerous others... You are better off getting a decent intercooler... Either a second hand good brand like CAPA (which I got 2nd hand) or hdi... Changing from a monza to fg cooler will not gain much power...If you are after serious power then those I mention are not really up to the job... Anyone can correct me if I m wrong as I m still new to this...

Didn't want to start a new thread but basically I'm going to get my completely stock bf 6T custom tuned with 42lb injectors and hi flow cat and up the boost to safe level. That's all I've got planned for it should make at least 250 at the wheels I'm guessing? So is it worth it for the 150 bucks to replace the stock xr6 cooler? With an eBay one or just keep it stock?

dude, read the above replies. And if you still think ebay/monza coolers are the go, buy one.

Takes a lot more than just injectors and a cat to make more power.

Talk to your tuner, he will know whats the best cooler to buy for your budget.

Dude. There is no budget for the cooler that's why I'm asking this question I'd be happy from whatever it makes from just a tune tbh. Even if the eBay one was even 10% better than stock for 150 bucks meh why not, if it's slightly better than what its got. I know there sh*t but that's not what I was asking. Simply just stock vs eBay lol

Anyway I'm looking for second hand f6 cooler now to keep more of stock look. Seeings there around similar price.

Any recommended tuners I'm in western suburbs of Melbourne.

Cheers

Just keep it stock and save the 150 squiddies for when you wanna chase the bigger numbers

Stock cooler's are fine until getting serious 300+

Hell I've got a Nizpro big cooler, 4" intake and only have 250rwkw's lol... (std exhaust) Car is a BA and can't afford it if anything breaks ATM so I'm happy.. I got the gear very cheap second hand, overkill yes, but when I want to chase more power I won't be needing to upgrade anything.
