Hi guys,

New to fords. Fg f6 auto here with a zf tune. Just wandering if anyone could let me know when at the drags should I be putting it in drive, sports drive or using the trip tonic? Just kind of confused is to what is faster for drag and roll ons. Any help or advice would be great.

Thanks!

Manual mode to stop it hitting rev limiter :)

Mainly a problem when tuned though. Also agree with not needing to rev it right out to redline. Power is dropping off at the top end.

Yup that's what worked best for me too steve

Mine is stock but revved right out to limiter at the drags if I didn't manual change

What do they rev out to? There's alot of tunes these days I see that make power to over 6k rpm, MurdoKs is a good example. He makes an extra 30rwkw from 5500-6100

Well that's pretty cool, I stand corrected. Can't recall the turbo and fuel he uses. Is it standard snail on 98 or is it more a gtx and E85 thing?

Oh and stock hard limiter is 6200rpm IIRC.
