So went to start my car this arvo I felt a tight spot when turning the key. Now instead of turning back and trying again I just turned it some more and I heard a pop noise and that was it. Pulled the Collin covers if to find that the back of the barrel had popped out. Now I have managed to put this back together and I can't get any power to the barrel. Can't seem to find any buggered fuses. Any help would be much appreciated as this is my only car and my partner needs it tomorrow. I'm just hoping the barrel isn't completely stuffed

Auto elec . The key has a Imobilser inside which transmits a signal to the key barrel area . Not too sure what they call it these days but used to be called a slip ring .
