Probably PM the bloke over on AFF?

But the consensus is that the IMS diff setup replacement is the way to go, these days.

You don't necessarily need a CAT bolt, a good quality grade 12.9 will be fine, that's what the CAT bolt is. Greater tensile strength with greater fatigue resistance. Stock is grade 10.9.

I'm pretty sure Arron already did that. I recall reading a thread where the exact specs were spelled out but I could be wrong. Hit up the search bar if you're keen.

If you're at the point where you are snapping diff bolts then you should replace the hat like hamster nuts said. Haha that or adjust your driving. :3gears:

I just need someone to suggest a good bolt to buy with the correct specs

Read the whole thread, has good information. Install the same length bolt that comes out, or  if you are really keen measure thread depth and make it a bit longer.

How many have you snapped and did they fatigue? This is mine. You need VERY firm front bushes to help with the bending. Bending causes fatigue cracks to initiate.

I have an N/A BF XR6, ZF 6 speed with 211rwkw and 500nm, im not running enough power to snap them all the time, I also have Nolathane solid bushes front and rear, thinking about changing the rear to something a bit softer to take a bit of load off the single bolt, I snapped an original one I re-used alot of times, it originally was quiet, but it started clunking for months after a few weeks, then snapped while doing u-turn extremely slow, I put a spare one I had in and it was quiet, now its started clunking again and I feel the same thing will happen, so I want to try a brand new bolt, I dont believe it SHOULD snap, but before I do anything major, a new bolt is worth a try, I cant find the correct bolt on the CAT website and with how strong they are rated and how annoying removing the cradle is for the 50th time, I just want to try it
