A above - rip the crimp joint out of the Yellow Scotch Lock. It's a white/red wire. This is the ignition trigger for the lights to come on. Replace the crimp join back into the yellow piece if you want the lights function to work again.

Alternatively stick your head in the pedal area and look for the big loom just under the steering column and unplug it. See the two little connectors? One should have a Yellow/White wire and the other should have a Orange and Black/Yellow wire. Disconnect these two plugs and "back out" the wires (Hopefully you have released the anti - back out latch on top) return the wires to the locations the new loom has taken in the big black plug. Then disconnect the ground wire on the lower right hand side of the vehicles main fuse block.

The module it's self is mounted up behind the fuse panel on a M8 bolt. undo that and rip module out and wiring harness with it. Done.

Does any of this apply to a BA mk2?

I'd rather have auto feature but it leaves the lights on for 30 seconds or so after locking car which is annoying so I've decided I want to wire the lights to the ignition.

It's safer, people notice you earlier with your lights on. Only issue is going through globes more often but I carry a complete set of spare globes and tools.

Yes. BA/BF/FG and both SY/SZ Territory's use the same kit.

There is a different part number for the Territory kit - but I can't tell the difference between them (besides the price - Territory one is $15 more)

Unless the difference is in the black module box. Also can fit kit to MK2 models with projectors.
