sorry but the dyno chart does not tell me much about the tune as it does not show boost or afr, but even if it did, that does not mean anyone could tell whether it was a good tune or a bad tune, a bad tune can some times be spotted with the info but no one can tell how good the rest of the tune is

Alot of the staff were away from last weekends Bathurst race and there tuner was one of them.I will ring tomorrow and ask some questions about the tune.The car also coughs slightly when the throttle is first pushed wide open.I hoping they run it back up and retune it.Ive been told of other GT,s running 375rwkw tuned on the same dyno.

Spoke to Chris at Hi Torque and he has said to bring it in and they will check the tune.They did admit that there main tuner was away and that Dallas tuned the car to a VERY safe tune..Hoping all goes well and will have a more detailed dyno sheet for all to see.

In my short life of mod cars in this 21st century, it would appear one tuners interpretation of a standard tune - what they do - and another can be miles apart . Some tuners will work towards a customer 's wants and wishes and achieve say 380rwkw , and altered boost , injectors , cat back , intercooler and call it a tune, whilst others using the word 'tune' will only seek to achieve the most efficient horsepower for fuel used .Each will do a job well done, but depending on the customers wants/needs the end result could in the eyes of the customer be unsatisfactory!.

I recall on one visit to a top tuner , I was asked what I was seeking. I stated I knew how the car preformed now, let's for the stake of the discussion call it 'standard @ 300rwkw' , then how will I know whether based on the money to be paid , I will be happy with 335, 350 or 380 rwkw???

Then if you say 335rwkw and you get the car back and you think 'did they do something as it feels the same' - unhappy!!

What are the steps , questions, advise , you should take before selecting a tuner, and then how do you tell the tuner specifically what you want , when in fact you really don't know. ? Is, a question , you start the process with the tuner, and then get the car back, and continue to revisit the tuner until you land close to what you imagined the car would be from factory to mod. ? Is this at all possible though?

They did say when I first seen them that I should atleast see around 60rwkw over the stock output...They also said that most GT,s on there dyno run around anywhere from 280-320rwkw stock.Mine was bang in the middle.Im hoping that they sort it out to where I think it should be.The car displayed standard performance with a hicup down low and also didnt reach its factory rev limit when tuned to rev to 6400rpm.

Anyway fingers crossed.

I'm here waiting to get my car retuned.Dallas was really great about helping to sort out the tune.Will have some results soon.

Ok results in...

311rwkw stock

350rwkw tuned.

There dyno seems to read a little lower then others but the gain of around 40rwkw seems about right.The thing is a absoulute weapon now.Its peeling black lines up the road with ease and that's with the R spec rear tyres too.Much happier now.There tuner Asley went above and beyond to make the tune perfect.It craps on the last tune.

Very happy.
