Some tuners will work towards a customer 's wants and wishes and achieve say 380rwkw , and altered boost , injectors , cat back , intercooler and call it a tune, whilst others using the word 'tune' will only seek to achieve the most efficient horsepower for fuel used .Each will do a job well done, but depending on the customers wants/needs the end result could in the eyes of the customer be unsatisfactory!. I recall on one visit to a top tuner , I was asked what I was seeking. I stated I knew how the car preformed now, let's for the stake of the discussion call it 'standard @ 300rwkw' , then how will I know whether based on the money to be paid , I will be happy with 335, 350 or 380 rwkw??? Then if you say 335rwkw and you get the car back and you think 'did they do something as it feels the same' - unhappy!! What are the steps , questions, advise , you should take before selecting a tuner, and then how do you tell the tuner specifically what you want , when in fact you really don't know. ? Is, a question , you start the process with the tuner, and then get the car back, and continue to revisit the tuner until you land close to what you imagined the car would be from factory to mod. ? Is this at all possible though?
