Starting in the UK , chalet in France , few trips around region and a trip up the famous Alp D'Huez ... Then across to Italy - Whilst in Italy , see Milan, Tuscany, Lakes region, up to Swiss border , ride Stevio and back to Rome see the sights before traveling across to Abruzzo and meeting the relo's . Spend a week or so, meeting the family , and back home ...... The trip should make the remaining penalty period manageable ...

I have understood , that due to the excess speed , the Magistrate as a guide to provide me with a 12 month suspension with a fine ... However, I now learned that the Magistrate has access to my driving history since inception - and yes , some years ago(2000) I lost my license for exceeding the speed limit of 100k by 30k on my road bike ...hence the Magistrate may elect to teach me a lesson and provide me with a longer suspension , bigger fine and then choose to cancel my license - which will mean I will have to sit a driving test to regain it ...WTF!!! They can't be serious ... ??? But in fact they're very serious ....

The law is such that if you were to bash and rob a little old lady, you would come away with less punishment than your current "crime" of exceeding the speed limit. The law sucks sometimes. :(

I have been exempt from a similar offence where I should of got 1 year and heavy fine. There is hope. I had no lawyer and told the magistrate that I no longer owned the car anymore and have learnt my lesson. He let me off by saying that he didn't want to see me again in court. He did a year later when I bought my first BA XR6 Turbo. He took my licence for a year then....
