Hi, how do I tell if my timing on a ba xr6t has skipped a tooth or 2, cars running fine, just at idle it has a miss but only when air cons off...

replaced (did before and after):

coils

plugs

TPS

oil temp sensor

head temp sensor

O2 sensor

intake gaskets

turbo gaskets

cleaned throttle body

air cleaner

changed injectors

Fuel pressure regulator

fuel filter

engin mounts (one was fueked!!)

and few other things icannot remeber

cheked codes

all theabove made the car drive beautifully its just this annoying miss it has lol.

so sthere a way of useing ets say...ageneric scanner t see if its skipped a tooth or would I feel it all the time if it has?

also "if" for sum reason teh waste gate is not closeing fully when at idle can that cause it??

Wow slow response to poor old OP. He asked in October 2013 though I'm sure jas98 is still around here
