Dafuq?

OP said it didn't feel right for the money he spent..

It didn't 'blow the tyres off' as much as he expected.. Given he was running larger injectors on a stock tune he is probably lucky he didn't take it to the drag strip..

I agree normally that people need to use a drag strip to gauge performance.. But in this case I see no relevance whatsoever..

?? Did you read the thread?

He took it in for a tune, thought he got one and wasn't impressed with it.

Turned out they didn't give him a tune - was still stock.

Once they rectified it he was happy with the difference - was what he was expecting in the first place

I don't understand what track has to do with this thread.

The OP went to a reputable tuner, spent good money and came out feeling that the car did not feel any faster, he then went back and the tuner said something along the lines of "The stock tune is in there"

Even though the injectors had been changed for bigger ones ???

Name and shame.

Oh, and gril'd burgers rock !!!

That said - 260kw on a stock tune sounds pretty high doesn't it?

Or was that the tuned readout and the tuner (for some reason) returned the car to you with the stock tune loaded (220 odd kws?)

So did you take it to the track to see what time it would run after your tune?

Just an update on the situation guys, finally took the car back the other day. Seems as though I was bang on the money.....

When I rang up to take my car back, I basically told him that I wasn't happy with the tune and that it felt quite stock.

The tuner did not remember myself or the car to well, he told me to bring the car back because they warrant all their tunes.

After an hour of leaving the car there he called me up and asked me it I took the car to another tuner at all because, are you ready for it?????

The stock tune was set!!!!

When I went to pick up the car he told me the car is running beautifully now and running 12-13psi with no mention of any turbo problems.

How would u take that?

Its called up selling, he will "fix" your turbo, load the real tune and bingo. He is a miracle worker and off you go happy. Lucky he found those bent fins HEY.
