Ike , you have been a member for 6 Years, 3 Months and 11 Days and you say you got lead down the wrong path by the tuner in regards to choice of aftermarket parts that you installed ? You really should have done some homework dude or asked on here for some info on what direction to take when spedning your $2500...

In regards to being "shut down" when you appraoched the tuner, how is this even possible ? You need to work on a few things mate .. I feel for you I do ... grow a set bro and do your homework before shelling out your hard earned.

all the best with it champ.

Ike don't stress about being sold some F6 injectors they will take your small turbo to its upper limits and they are an easy correct fit for your car so no dodgy has been done there

Price....well that's up to u to work out but if u paid 2.5k u must of known this at the start so maybe more shopping next time

If the tuner has said there is an issue u have to take his word on that, again still not really ripping u off.

Just as a comparison we tuned a fg xr6turbo three weeks ago that went from 216rwkw stock to 290rwkw on 95 octane and all the mods were injectors,hi flow cat,air box mod, herrod pipe kit,new plugs, service

The car was a complete new beast to drive after and the wow factor from the owner said it all..... The boost went from the stock 8ish psi up to 13psi

If your in SA and want us to look at it for free just P.M me :)

The 2.5k was spent on Xcal, f6 injectors and the turbo had to be removed because I had an exhaust leak.

I am from sydney for those that have asked.

I don't doubt the F6 injectors, in reference to my comment about being convinced to install the injectors... I was happy to just do the tune for better fuel consumption(that was my initial intentions upon first visit) and the tuner advised me of putting the injectors because it will get more power and the fuel consumption will be the same as not putting them. So I thought y not for an extra $500. But I got no power increase, so that's y I feel I was lead down the wrong track

Again as said before.> I don't think you've been misled.. I think you would have gotten a gain if the tuner was happy to push it.. BUt he felt something was wrong.. And he didn't want to risk your car..

Regardless of the situation, the tuner shouldn't bar him when he went back wanting answers
