Hey guys, just recently got a XCal and F6 injectors fitted to my FG XR6 Turbo and I am not really happy with the end result.

I know numbers are just numbers but it just doesn't feel any different. Very little power increase, it got 260rwkw with only other mods being the XR8 air box and middle muffler removed. My boost gauge is only reading 8psi. The tuner told me that turbo had a couple of bent fins and when he dyno ran it on 12psi the turbo was "screaming"What are your thoughts on this?

Also saw some oil coming out of the turbo as you can see in the pic I've attached.

Yes Numbers are not everything..But 260 is low..what did it do in rwks Stock? Bent fin..should still be able to tune it with it I think..If you want to say..What tuner...that's if you want to say

I don't really want to bad mouth anyone. But it is one of the Bigger names.

When I asked y the boost was so low he said it was too dangerous to boost anymore, said the turbo would go.

I doubt that.... I was running more boost before the tune

And he didn't tell me rwkw before hand, cause there was an exhaust leak when he first ran it and said it was quite low

It's obvious his trying to play it safe, as he mentioned turbo fins are bent. You should perhaps fix that problem and take it back for a touch up tune.

Did he put it to you while he was tuning that he noticed the fins are bent?

Did he put it forward to you a quote to fix it so that he could push more out of it?
