Nah, fuel filter

Have you ditched the factory turbo feed oil filter? Or replaced it with a flash looking earls jobbie?

So as of Saturday I noticed something abit weird.

On cold starts in N or P after about idling for about 1min the car starts missing beat, vibrating, and engine coughing black smoke like its about to stall. If I slightly accelerate it feels weak and feels like it’s about to stall. This continues for about 2mins then everything goes away and idles at a perfect tone all by itself with no black smoke or nothing. At this point in time the temp gauge is like 1/4 and drives perfect and continues to do so when warm. Turn off/back on and as long at the tempo gauge is on around ¼ everything’s fine, anything below it continues to happen. This has been doing the exact same process since Saturday on each occasion when cold.

Yesterday I did an oil change, Nulon full synthetic and oil filter and did a trans flush with kit at the same time as it was due.

Mechanic also checked plugs n leads and were fine. Mind you I also only get like 300km to a tank max (98ron).

This morning I start it and the same sh1t.

The car has had a cappa ver1 tune when I bought it. Could it be just the sh1ty tune doing this?

Can I keep driving it and not worry until I get my final mods done and get it all custom tuned with the xcal3

Gurus, how long does the car take to go from open loop to closed loop after start up? Is it about 1 minute?

Whoah, what the. Let me get back to you on that...

Oh I was in the right thread. It was in reference to the post above it about the car being fine for 1 minute then coughing smoke etc. Was wondering if it was due to going into closed loop and that showing some sort of problem.

Thanks,

Would there be anything I need to worry about and would I be able to reach this running 14psi?

Just want to do it without blowing anything.

14psi wont get 350. Maybe 320.

Do the flapper and punch in 16psi

Valve springs. Get crow with retainers.
