Price was not the determining factor here. The guy at pedders was rude and clearly didn't care if he got the job or not. The next option was bob Jane, who was not only a whole lot friendly, but a whole lot cheaper too. My car drives perfectly straight now with no issues

I've been to a few pedders and none of them really knew their sh*t but one did. Had a few wheels alignments at bob jane's that were rubbish as well as a pedders one! Jax quickfit does all my wheel and tyre stuff these days and they have a factory trained ford mechanic there aswell so he helps diagnose any issues I have and then either I fix them or get them too. Take for example 3 separate wheel alignments I had, all varied between 0 and -1deg rear camber post adjustment and I have no camber adjustment in my car and there is always the same amount of fuel and the rear springs are quite stiff anyway so shouldn't change that much according to their alignments. Either way every franchise is different depending on who runs it, some people take more pride in their work than others and so the name of the shop should not be indicative of whether their good or not

(it got to the "yep definitely will fix your problem when do you want to book it in" stage)(drove for many thousands of kilometers cause I'm an idiot with one tyre excessively worn on edge)...Took it to an old fella who laughed and said something about it just needing shims. I don't even know what they did but the tyres wear evenly now and I don't have f*cked camber. He also did ball joints and wheel bearings that were flogged which nobody told me about (wheel about to fall off territory). Got the deal of the century, I basically got wheel bearings installed for free considering all front ball joints were replaced. It's my opinion that no alignment should be done when a car has faulty or excessively worn parts. It can actually be dangerous.
