Im keen for wsid , I was going to try and get back there after they have had a big meet on the weekend before the wendesday night that way the track will be nice and sticky. Last time I was there the track was sh*t and the car would just spin the tyres if I left the line with anymore than 2300rpm.

Have you done much reading up about the standard tailshaft? They're pretty weak, so dont try and stall it up too hard if you go to the track or your car will be going home on a tow truck.

The track has heaps more grip than the road so if you are running a drag radial on a prepped track wheel spin isnt too much of an issue at our power level. You can take off from idle but it will hurt your time a fair bit .

I've been running m/t et streets on the street and love the traction .

I think a few guys on hear have had them let go with even less power but if you are just running street tyres on the road you should be ok

I ran the factory dunlops for a while and the car was painting lines in 3rd everywhere on a cool night . But now I run 275 40 17 , the car is heaps quicker on the road but not as fun because I always have traction.
