Hi guys,

I have come across some brembo's that I'm going to try and fit, they were running on 370mm discs but I'm going to test them on a 355mm disc as I'm pretty sure the wear area is the same for the pad.

One issue I need to sort is the mounting bracket, now if the 355mm disc works I should be able to run the ford type mounting bracket (if I can find one) otherwise I'll get something made to suit.

Just wondering if anyone knows the distance between caliper mounting bolts on there ford spec brembo's. Mine came in at about 181mm or 7 2/16 of an inch. See pic:

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Hey Ralph,

Here are some of the numbers:

8J0615106AG (that's on a sticker)

a5440201 (stamped on caliper)

It is not a falcon caliper, is a Brembo 4 pot though.

I will measure mine tonight and check the PN. I didn't think the "falcon" calipers where any different? I ran the numbers from mine and they came back and an F40 caliper. (37/32mm pistons IIRC)

Thanks bud.

There is a faint 12F04 2 stamped on the caliper also that I have now found.

It'd be great to get a drawing with dimensions but its being troublesome so far.

I dont have any other pics that I can load up at the moment. They are fronts, but as said not from a falcon. They also look identical to some rears from a particular supercar.

Thanks for the measurement, mine probably are 180mm so I might have to try find some brackets to make life easier.

What are they off mate? They appear to have provisions for a hand brake cable and if im not mistaken collected retaining pins? Can you measure piston size?

they are very much like CHLAXN pic.

Came off an RS3 Audi, that bit is for the electronic pad measuring.
