I spent well into 10k parts for my BA gt. All the bolts ons one can think of. It made just on 300rwkw. With no blower, and became a pig to drive. A standard BA bf xr8 had a rev limiter that was too low for any hard performance. So the first thing to do is give it a tune. I also put 4:11 gears in the diff which helped a *^%# load!

My dad owns a built BF GT and I absolutely love it. Sounds amazing, pulls hard and definitely doesn't feel week down low. It makes just under 300rwkw, runs 12's and it's great car. I don't see why lots of people have problems with the boss motors.

Hey ratter imagine how fast you would have gone if you had a decent engine in your car.Im just saying with all the better engines around unless your proving a point why use a boss they chew juice and don't go that well you must have the rare non boat anchor edition any way footys on go freo !!!!!!!!!!!

there's lot of better engines around, but we wanted to see what the boss was capable of unopened and show that setup correctly it could fight with the best of them, the quickest turbo's at the time were still running 10's except for Adams which went 9 in a stripped out car

fuel economy, although not as good as Bels G6ET was still a lot better than what a lot of guys on here report they get with their T's

Obviously matsfgxr6turbo has made up his mind about how great his car is and showing how ignorant he can be. The 6T really isn't that great on fuel either so I wouldn't be using that as a comparison point.
