Simmo,

Yes I'm in the same boat - brake shudder and clunky diff.

See my (now closed) post.

My T is an auto, and the clunky diff is not the same problem as driveline shunt that others are reprting for manuals. Rather its a clunk at parking speeds when turning, stopping or starting.

I am shortly to get Ford to check it out.

Does anyone have any clues about a solution ??

Does Ford recognise it as a problem ??

Premium brakes would be a cheaper option than selling the car!

I had a diff clunk (auto too) and it went away. Maybe it's just a running in thing? I was worried too, as I've modified, and have no warranty!

Coming up to 300,000k's now with no real problems - and the premium brakes are great!

300,000km...I'm guessing we are not talking BA then?

DBA drilled/slotteds with Ferodos fixes the brake prob permanently, costs a $1000 but fixes the prob full stop and you pull up a lot quicker too. If you buy the parts your dealer should fit them gratas.

See my (now closed) post.

A number of "helpful" links were posted to asist you prior to closing it. Rather than have the same post over and over we try and refer members back to existing information on the question at hand :D

Yes, I gathered that was the case.

The suggested posts were very helpful.

I'm just getting used to how this works.

Thanks.
