Last weekend I took part in the local car clubs 1/4 mile street sprint. All went well, till days end when I had the fuel line off the bottom of the P/W surge tank to the 044 split / delaminate. It was leaking but I was still able to drive home quietly off boost. A email to Kev and the new parts arrived today, free of charge- fantastic service from a top bloke, well done KEV! I got to work and fitted the new hose, pulled the fuse on the 044 (as the surge was now empty) and primed up the in-tank pump 12 times to fill the surge , before reinstalling the 044's fuse and repeating to get fuel up to the rail.Turned the key and she ran very rough, as if on 4 cylinders, which got progressively worse. I tried a little throttle but with no improvement, then it stalled. Repeated with similar results , now it wont fire at all.I thought perhaps the battery was lazy after sitting 5 days ( battery brand new a month ago) so jump started off another vehicle, turned over about the same speed but still wont fire.I had the passengers side up on a axel stand for the 5 days wait, so the car was on a slight angle, not sure if that was part of the problem.I pulled the plugs, turned her over incase I had flooded it, checked spark ( good and strong) cleaned the plugs with throttle body cleaner and reinstalled. Plugs and coils (genuine) are almost two years/ 20,000km's old. I checked for fault codes on my Xcal, no codes. It feels like it almost tries to fire on 1 cylinder as I turn it over. The strange bit is it was running fine on the drive home, turned her off, now shes a no go.Thoughts please guys. I've seen that one before. My car had P0238 code to do with boost solenoid being unplugged from the ECU. xcal didn't see code, elm-327 bluetooth adapter and phone did.
