Well they've released the GTX gen2 358(4) that's listed as 1000hp/745kw !!

 

the GTX gen2 3582 is listed as 850hp/634kw 

 

T3 ,bolt on,low mount 1000hp .... say no more weeeeee

1000hp gtx3582.2 is through a 1.1x t4 rear though Shirley ?

Didnt realise there was a gen2 gtx. Although I think the borg warners are the best overall turbo I have tried, an equally or better performing garrett makes more sense for the barra. Has the advantage of being a direct bolt on..

Yeah would be the only way to flow 90+lbs/min and its likely going to make it more doey than going something slightly larger with a samller rear housing.

 

Would be keen to see someone test them side by side though. Surely soon enough someone will come up with the goods/results

In the RS it's full V band set up so not T flanged but as a supercore offering im not sure the 1000hp would be applicable but who knows !

 

Garrett already stated all Gen2's of the same size as GTX gen 1 have no additional lag spool time only gains !
