I mean like, have they pulled on their handbrake stuff. I love this turbo. The power delivery is nuts. 360rwkw v 360rwkw - GTX v MTA750, feels like tuned v stock by comparison on road. Yes, it's that good

AND the Turbo is all of a sudden 100rpm more laggier than the previous dyno session too :/Iv uprated the Tailshaft since last dyno and done the valve springs and seem to have gone a fair bit backwards ..We didnt do the E85 tune as there was no use trying to turn up boost till the actuator error is sorted.. booked in for 10 days time..VERY keen to get the GTX core and swap it over in the meantime although id keep my .82 rear I think..

It's comes up a bit with this turbo unfortunately - shop to shop. To be fair to my 750 as I said in my build thread, my problems were essentially attributed to a dodgy bov. So, I never saw it's full potential. That said, at around the 360 mark on 98, you can't beat the small GTX in my opinion. The car is considerably quicker at that power than what I had with the 750. It would obviously make more up top if dialled up. My comparison though which was within 1-2psi boost with the same final output and the GTX kills it.I'd be making sure your port & flapper is 100% - yes run an actuator closer to desired boost and bin the old bosch bov. That will give you the best chance with now proven combinations that have cured boost control issues running the 750. Ironically, the last problem I heard was a car making too much boost (22psi) that couldn't be reduced. As for running a .82 rear. Mine spools on cold start program - no bullsh*t. It is making boost from 1200rpm and strong from 1500rpm. So, I'd personally stick with the 1.06.

It apparently spools similar to the gt3576 but makes low 400's on 98.
