My 2006 (02/06) bf went bang with approx 18psi behind her and with only 70,000kms as well, so low k's mean nothing as unless the car is post 06/06 u still have a ba bottom end which are weak. In saying that some engines have heaps more k's and run 20psi and still holding fine. Soooo many factors to look at. Hopefully it's post 06/06 for your sake

Senna + hen has pretty much summed up what you need. At the end of the day it always come down to what you want to spend.

I'm looking around at tyre ATM and your looking anywhere between $900 - $1500 for a good set of rubber. Pending size wheels EG17,18,19

Ive checked here its not to bad

If the price is right and it has everything you want then go for it, just make sure you don't thrash it everywhere and plan to get a cooler and re-tune asap. Look into the forum sponsors and find someone close to you for a retune.
