I'd just ask for the turbo bolts to be tightened.

Then things like fuel filter and ignition coils can be looked at but I threw lots of money at my crappy BA from trying to fix problems so defiantly take it to an expert.

Doing all the coils just for the hell of it isn't really the way to go. Sparkplugs yea, fuel filter yea, that's good maintenance stuff anyway. If after that you still have issues you need to figure it out properly not shotgun stuff.

Had another decent look at the car again tonite, took all heat shield off and torqued all manifold bolts, some were fairly loose. cleaned throttle body and intake piping etc, made NO difference, But I found the exhaust manifold had 2 minor cracks.... not sure if this is the problem though?

If your still not happy take it back mate something else is obviously wrong

Any chance I can bring it to you guys in for a quick going over/opinion? I know the manifold will need to be welded/replaced but im just unsure if that is were my other 100kw has gone

Unfortunately we have a very strict rule that if your a current workshop customer we can not help

Its not a cop out but a show of respect to those who make a living off this line of work, unless bruce tells u to bugger off or something has happened where uve made the decision u just dont want to go back.

But as far as uve said he helped out then it needs to be looked at again, I know bruce will be happy to have u up again no dramas so just book it in and if u have to pay for a few hrs so it can be diagnosed correctly

If there is something stopping u going back send me a pm :)

Is there much play in the wastegate arm valve creating a boost leak...flapper will kick up and not seal?

Any rough idle after giving her the beans when coming to a immediate stop indicating weak springs possibly?

Has the catalytic converter been checked?

Do you have the ability to return to stock and see if she drives A1 in that guise?

You say it was tuned to 10psi but is now fluctuating at 13psi'ish is this correct that the car is over boosting?

Allot of these things you can check yourself if Bruce already hasn't.

I really feel like this cracked manifold is the answer to your problems.

It sure as hell caused a lot of whacky stuff to go wrong in mine until it was fixed (in quite a dodgy way lol).
