hi I have got a reco diff 3.45 ratio, from a ba xr8 260 boss for a steal of a price ($400) for my ba xr6t sedan

anyway it has been sitting for 3 years and never installed in teh car due to a electrical fire it had..

is there anay do's and do'nts after installing it? like is penrite 80w140 ok to use or should I use a different oil then drop it then refill??

reconditioned diffs are new to me

You should put new oil in drive for 1000kms then change it again you will see a lot of metallic dust where the surfaces are wearing together and new bearings etc that's what I did when I put new gears bearings etc in my old diff
