when do these Ba turbos need to be replace.... like how many kms do they need to travel before buying/reconditioning?

Some seem to go early <100k but after the full story gets checked out and told, it is more down to poor service intervals, cr#p oil, no turbo oil line filter changes, half a house brick down the intake etc etc.

There are more than a enough on here with 150k plus on them and still good - even with the "hairdryer" regularly pumping out >1 bar of boost. IMO, The pumps are a good product and proper service (clean oil supply and filtered air) should see them go over 200K with no issues.
