Hey guys pretty sure this topic has been posted before somewhere.I'm planning to change diff bushes soon, just wondering what shell my 03 BA xr6t sedan uses. Is it the steel shell or the resin shell?

Cheers.

Steel (fullstop)

Avoid Nolathane (Fullstop)

Whiteline or Superpro(Fullstop)

So the company selling the product told you that their product is the same as their potential competitor?

Sounds legit.

Just use Superpro

u are aware that whiteline and nolathane are owned by the same company? whitline is there sister company. I rung red ranger to enquire about rear control blade bush's for my ba xr6t, and I told him I was'nt too convinced after all the bad reports about them a few years ago. he ended up sending some for free to get the name going. anyway he sent me some whitline ones, and I asked if there was any difference, he said no they use the same compound just different colour.....they even look the same......

contact info the same, same address just different site/email

http://www.nolathane.com.au/contact.php

http://www.whiteline.com.au/contact.php

if you dont belive me ring red ranger and ask. im sure whyn will tell you.

Whiteline and Nolathane merged and are distributed under the company name Redranger. That does not mean the products are the same. Its like saying because Ford USA owns Jaguar and Ford Aus the Falcon and the XKR are the same.

Do your research you will see consistant complaints about excessive NVH increase with the Red nolathane Diff bushes. Im yet to see the same complaints from the Black Whitleline productts

yes, but nolathane has a new compound out now which is the same as whitline.......... 2 names more money, he admitted that nolathane had a bad name a few years ago due to there compound being to harsh and failing but now they use the same compound.

this is what he told me so im only going by what he said....also nolathane just brought out some new style diff bush's (same as the whitline desighn) however for the price super pro is the way to go.

at theend of the day some of there products are identical looking some are different but the compounds (besides colour) are identical

I did the bushes in an 04 ba mk2 and it was a bitch. I used nolathane and no probs but am only a newbie to this stuff but 1000 times better then having no bushes. Prepare for tight gaps and loss of skin on your knuckles.

Some picks. Back yard job. End result I was very happy with.
