I'm not doubting anyone rab, I'm just saying MPH is very low for 428. In my experience Tyres don't make that much of a difference, traction will net you a better ET but your MPH should be true to your power.Do we need new MT's soon George? I'm a novice when it comes to the dragstrip but don't most change gears at 52-5500rpm? Stage 2 engine to utilize all that power up top me thinks @MurdoK

Donating Members 2,533 Member For: 16y 9m 3d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 07/11/13 12:56 AM Share Posted 07/11/13 12:56 AM Limiter is really where your tuner has set it.Not much use spinning a street car past 6200 - 6300 IMO.Make sure you tuner gives you a soft rev cut so your oil pump gears at least get a chance if you the limited! Car was repaired. The problem with the car not running ended up being a carbon build up on the throttle body causing it to spas out and keep shutting the engine down. Couldnt believe it. A tiny amount of crap caused all this.lol. so I cleaned that and bang, car worked fine Edited 15/03/16 01:01 PM by MurdoK
