Is there no way we can contact SCT directly to report this sh*t.

It happens on the SCT3 and now on the SCT4

well that's gotta suck..
I was possibly gunna upgrade mine to the 4 model but seems there not a lot of use now :/

depending on how hot the day is, is dependent on how many issues you have flashing the ecu.

I personally have not had issues, but know of someone that called Rob while I was there and was having issues flashing his car.

I am pretty sure that thee are a few others on the forum that have issues with the SCT3 too.

Make sure you got an esky with ice in the boot. ;)

You can contact them over in the USA and then they can laugh at you because you are in Australia.

 who are the guys that make the changes in Aus. I know there is a local shop who we deal with for reset of the CALS.

Surely they could be notified.

Doesn't the talk about letting the car cool down suggest it might be more of an issue with the car than the xcal?

 

is there any reported instance of an xcal having issues with another vehicle make/model?
