My understanding is rear ends are the same over models, only difference being the diffs themselves?

Also airbags would have been deployed because the SRS module would have sensed a decrease in lateral G's so thought it was getting a hit from the side... which it was, just from the gutter ;)

didnt think the fords were smart enough to deploy air bags when it sensed a "possible" impact.

pretty sure that's only on fancy shmacy mercs n shiz.

It didn't sense a possible impact, it sensed a big impact of car hitting gutter and air bag deployed

The srs module picked up a side impact , it just can't determine if its sliding into gutter or another car impacting the side

what I was trying to get at ^

the sensor in the door was triggered when you hit the pole,. hence the air bag. not because you hit a gutter. lol

the deal with the fg xr6 rear cradle is a no go, the guy selling it called around and found out that fg xr6 and fg xr6 turbo's axles are different. He called his brother and was able to source a g6e turbo's complete rear cradle , wants $600 for it or $1000 including labour to fit, drop out my current damaged cradle and fit the g6e turbos cradle with my existing LSD still in place.

I assume g6e turbos suspension isnt the same as xr6 turbos? should I go ahead with the deal?

managed to grab:

airbag $100

srs module $200

roofliner $80

said once installed(even showed me how), come back and he will clear any codes for free(Ford wanted $150)
