dont think there are any creases, even the rear door that's smashed opens up completely and closes flush, nothing wrong except cosmetic damage me thinks. Just by looking at things , I'd say suspension parts soaked up all the damage, got the garage creeper out and rolled under the car, cant see anything out of the ordinary. If anyone wants to come and have a look for chits and giggles at my stupidity, feel free, West hoxton area

Like most I'm only an armchair expert, but I was of the impression that any modern car that has airbags deploy is pretty much a stat write-off.

But interweb diagnosis from anyone will do you no good, best get it on a tow truck to a panel beater's. There's a legendary bloke kicking around here in a bionic T that that owns one that may be able to help or point you in the right direction.

hmm, I tried using said tow truck service, still waiting for a callback....

We need to smart blokes here to work out if standard bits will fit your rig. Pat would know, cause he is smart. you will save buckets if you can lift a full rear cradle from a XT...

I'd be inclinded to put a whole new good second hand cradle in complete with everything. I wouldn't waste my time with that cradle as you will be scratching your head later on when you have problems with tyre wear.

The rest is easy. First get it driving then worry about the other stuff later.

Next go buy the stickiest tyres that you can buy (regardless of cost) and promise us that you will never drive on cheap ass tyres again as this is the consequence of cheap ass tyres (and inexperienced driving)

I hope your mates sh*t themselves and serves them right for egging you on. (even though as the driver if you don't know your capabilities then lay off it until in a big space where you can test limits and not do damage)

I like the idea of a complete replacement subframe as it's hard to know exactly whats bent.

If getting a replacement cradle/subframe, ensure it is of the lowest KM car you can find so all the bushes will be in better condition, and inspect the replacement one for damage/impact scratches. The last thing you want is to fit replacement parts that will be all worn out.

Perhaps your mates should help you out with fitting replacement suspension components, I reckon you should invite them over and they can BYO Chips and Drinks for all to enjoy, and help to do what you can to fix the car before painting time.
